With the Dark Base Pro 901, Stay Calm presents a new high-end case at Computex 2023, which is particularly impressive due to its highly flexible design. Now the manufacturer has confirmed at CES 2024 in Las Vegas that the current flagship case will also come in white color. Dark base 701 dipped in white. Both models will be available from March 2024 onwards.
The Dark Base Pro 901 (Test) is the absolute spearhead of quiet in the housing segment. The case is particularly impressive due to its high modularity, flexibility and extensive hardware compatibility. Added to this is the sleek design, which however uses a classic black. Now keep calm Dark Base Pro 901 is coming to the market as a white colored version.
Nothing will change in the actual structure of the case. Recommend space for litigation CPU cooler up to 190mm high, for graphics cards up to 495 mm long and ATX power supplies up to 288 mm long. If you want, you can also make housing flips. This is useful, for example, if you place the computer on your left side and want to peek inside through the glass side panel. The front panel has 4x USB-A ports, 1x USB-C port and a Touch-sensitive fan and RGB controls. Another highlight is the integrated Qi charger, with which you can charge your cell phone at up to 15 watts.

Out of the box, the case offers three Silent Wings 4 fans in 140 mm format, which, together with the mesh, should ensure proper airflow. The fans rotate up to 1,900 revolutions per minute and operate relatively quietly. In total, the housing offers space for eleven fans. Alternatively, it is possible to install several radiators with a 420 mm heat exchanger at the front.

Also, be quiet dark base 701 (test) will be displayed in white. This announcement is no surprise, however, as the white version is already featured in the operating instructions for the normal version. Here, too, everything else remains unchanged: it is compatible with graphics cards up to 430 mm long, which means that even the largest GPUs fit in the case. Vertical GPU mounting is also optionally possible, although this is limited to 3-slot graphics cards. The CPU cooler can be 185mm high, although water cooling can be used as an option.

Also, up to 3x 3.5″ HDDs and 2x 2.5″ SSDs can be mounted. The Dark Base 701 is also equipped with 3x Silent Wings 4 PWM high-speed fans and supports 8x 140mm fans or two 360mm radiators.
