Korean publisher and developer Pearl Abyss shut down the Snow Mountain region and Guardian class today Black Desert Mobile The added new area invites players to the Winter Mountains where they will find new story quests and missions, valuable loot and a powerful world boss. Players can also play as a new class, the guardian of Snow Mountain, the Guardian.
to explore snow mountain: An immersive new region
Snow Mountain is a region beyond Drighan, covered in pure white snow, filled with frigid terrain and terrifying enemies. New players can enter the area after registering their family name and first 10 minutes of gameplay. There they have access to five unique stories waiting to be discovered in Schneberg. Upon completion of all quests, players will gain combat power equal to that of the well-known Mediah region. Current players can look forward to new grade accessories, tougher boss monsters and exciting content that will enhance their gameplay experience and encourage ongoing progression.
- Five new stories: Players can experience five stories in Schneeberg. Once all five are completed, players progress quickly.
- Cold climate: Players must protect themselves from the freezing cold by consuming warming yuzu tea for 20 minutes. Yuzutee is available daily once players complete in-game quests. The item should always be used within 24 hours of collection.
- New World Exclusive Bosses: By acquiring the Heart of Dark Winter, players can face off against the powerful boss monster Erebjork. It is obtained through relentless hunting in new territories. 30 players can kill Erebjork and collect great rewards.
- Eloburg Defense Battle: As players perform various activities in the new area, the Snow Mountain monsters will become restless and gather their strength. After 24 hours when the power is maxed out, the Ali village defense battle will begin. Players have the opportunity to participate in a battle to protect the village relics for up to an hour. Rewards such as Eye of the Void and Unknown Memory (Necklace) are found there. Players can participate in defense battles once a week.
Meet the guardian class, mighty warriors
The Guardian is an Ascension class with a powerful battle ax and shield that crushes enemies with sheer force and breaches their defenses with four key skills:
- Meniscal stroke: The guardian swings his ax across the ground, striking enemies with a powerful long-range shockwave.
- Schwarzenegger: The guardian gathers the energy of the earth into his axe, attacking enemies with a single blow. He can combine this ability with Flow: Blackblood Crater for more attacks. This makes this ability more effective against groups of monsters.
- Huge impact: The Guardian raises his shield and pushes the enemies back. His speed gets faster and faster during his push. He can convert to other attacks by using other skills.
- Dragon’s Call: This is a passive skill that increases the Guardian’s stats and applies to all other skills. If the ability is activated, crit rate and crit damage increase, the effect can be stacked up to five times.
Sport- and community-events
Players can celebrate the expansion’s launch with fun in-game events and community activities. The Guardian class can be launched in special daily missions to receive rewards such as Scrolls of Fortune, Red Bean Paste Buns, and Reggie Scrolls, improving the journey through Snow Mountain. Players can embark on the Snow Mountain Expedition to receive rewards such as Path of Glory Entry Tickets, Yuzu Tea, Ancient Enciphered Glyph Scrolls, and more. Players should not miss out on exciting events, monthly login rewards, story quests and snowflake collection.
