Activision has made a habit of publishing an annual release, with developers such as Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games, Raven Software, and Treyarch adding their own unique style to the game.

Players look forward to new versions of Call of Duty, and Activision has recently focused on launching new versions of the Modern Warfare series – such as the upcoming Modern Warfare 3 (2023).
With all these remasters of older games, players are thinking about other Call of Duty games they wish were released with a modern flair – games like the classic World at War, which first came out a decade ago in 2008.

A developer has sparked a wave of community support for a World at War remake and reminisced about the old game with a post: “World at War is one of the best Call of Duty games ever. We have to do it again.”
Some loved the idea of remastering World at World, claiming it to be one of the greatest CoD titles: “It’s absolutely true! One of the best CoD titles ever released.”

However, not everyone was so enthusiastic, and one person was quick to recall a game from Vanguard from the same era, which was not well received by the community: “We called it Vanguard.”
But while many aren’t against the idea, they’re instead focusing their attention on the soon-to-be-released Modern Warfare 3, fearing the game could be plagued with problems — such as spam reports and “excess SBMM.”
