For fans of the series HBO Time to win: The rise of a Lakers dynasty Those who were hoping for a third season got some terrible news on Sunday night. Shortly after the second season finale premiered, it was announced that there would be no third season and the series was canceled.
Although time to win was entertaining, had a lower audience than the previous season and received a lot of criticism from the players who starred in the series. The author of the book the series was based on, Jeff Perlman, has been very vocal about the possibility of a third season not happening. He has posted several times on social media, asking fans to help him grow his audience.

The series was based on Dynasty Los Angeles Lakers era Showtime in the 1980s, and addressed all the trials and tribulations the franchise faced in becoming what it is today. It was Dr. Jerry Bus how to create rivalry between teams Lakers And Boston Celtics, and many more. It was a dramatic reenactment of the events, but some of the people depicted resented the retelling.
Irvin Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Jerry West have all expressed dissatisfaction with the series, which may be one of the reasons for the low ratings. All claimed that the show was wrong to feature people, and Abdul-Jabbar even called the show boring.
This series had so much potential, and unfortunately, it was forced to end prematurely.
