Last week the much awaited merger took place Disney+ and Star+ in Mexico. Thus, those who subscribed to Melee through Mercado Libre, which offered these two services in packages while separate, has undergone price changes
In an email sent to users, Mercado Libre revealed the new price for Meli+, which offers the same content, but at a different price. Something that many may not like. Options through Mercado Libre look like this:
- Disney+ Standard, with ads, is included in Meli+ membership for 129 pesos per month.
- Meli+ with Disney+ Standard for 219 pesos per month.
- Meli+ with Disney+ Premium for 299 pesos per month, but due to promotion, the first two months will cost 219 pesos.
While there are no major changes in the standard and premium options, Disney+ standard subscription with ads has increased in priceAnd considering that everything is now only on one platform, there’s no big incentive to pay for this service through Disney+.
While it’s still early days, Melee+ is likely to disappear eventually. We will have to see what happens with this subscription option in the future.. On a related note, these are the Disney+ premieres for July. Similarly, here’s what you need to know about the merger between Disney+ and Star+.
Author’s Note:
Recruiting one of these services through a package will gradually become obsolete. It is very easy to pay directly by visiting the official site. Special programs are ending, and offers are being reduced, something that may seem negative to many people
