In the latest promotional video for the Pixel 9, we see the new “Add me” feature for the camera.
Apparently the entire package of press materials for the new Pixel 9 smartphone ended up in unauthorized hands. Now there’s another video that reveals a few new features. This includes, for example, Super Res Zoom for videos. But much more exciting: the Google Pixel 9 will later be able to add people to photos.
As an example, this shows how a group wants to take a group photo with everyone. To do this, the subject is photographed in front of everyone but the photographer. Then again the same photographer alone. Now the Pixel camera can merge both photos together so that each is included in the final shot.
