Cosina has been on a roll the past few weeks, having launched a collection of lenses back in February and a pair of 40mm F2.8 primes for Leica cameras yesterday. Today, the company continues its release with the announcement of a new Voigtländer Nokton 23mm F1.2 manual focus lens for Fujifilm X-mount camera systems.

The manual lens, which offers a ~ 35mm full-frame equivalent field of view (and F1.8 equivalent aperture), is constructed of 10 elements in six groups, including one double-sided aspherical element and two low-dispersion elements. Cosina says the optical construction is ‘optimized for the image sensor of Fujifilm X-mount cameras’ and the lens features electrical contacts for transmitting EXIF data, focus confirmation and other information required for optimal performance with Fujifilm’s in-body image stabilization.
