Dedolight and Prolycht have announced new dedolight NEO color LED spotlights. This is the first product in the technical collaboration between Daedalite and Prolitch that was formed in late 2021. The NEO color LED spotlight integrates the optics of a daylight with the RGBACL Hyperlight color engine from ProLichot.
The NEO Color is an RGBACL 80w adjustable color focusing spotlight that comes in the familiar deadlight form factor. The NEO color uses a RGBACL hyperlite color engine made by Prolycht and Dedolight’s famous integrated optics to give a 6: 1 variable beam angle.
The NEO Color joins Prolitch’s Orion 300 FS and Orion 675 FS color spotlights to create a family of lights using the same color engine. Theoretically, this would allow you to use them together because they should be almost identical.

The RGBACL Hyperlight Color Engine was engineered by Dr. Anking Liu to use red, green, blue, amber, cyan and lime emitters. It claims to reproduce accurate skin tones across an extended 2,000K – 20,000K CCT range, as well as creating richly saturated colors across a larger range than competing RGBW and RGBWW LED lights.

The Deadlight NEO color shares a similar feature with the Prolite Orion 675 FS and Orion 300 FS. Controls include x, y, hundreds of built-in Li and Rosco gel equivalents, dozens of built-in light source equivalents, and an array of customizable effects.

Each ballast’s OLED display is controlled via a menu or through the same ChromaLink app that is used as the Prolit’s Orion series using Bluetooth or WiFi. Includes controls for integration with various wired and wireless lighting controllers and consoles via DMX and Lumenradio CRMX.

The NEO color has full metallic construction properties and consists of NEO color lamphead (DLED7C) and DTneoC ballast.

The fixture can be powered by a V-mounted battery or AC power supply. A 3-meter cable connects the lamphead to the NEO color control unit, and an optional 10-meter cable is also available. The Deadlight NEO color is compatible with many current Daedalite optical accessories.
