To differentiate some of the most popular streaming platforms of the moment, they need some familiar faces. Thus, names like Ludwing, Amouranth or xQc have become synonymous with their respective companies. Thus, I was surprised to hear that one of the world’s most famous streamers has moved on to Pokemon Twitch.
Through his official Twitter account, Imane Anis, better known as Pokimane, He no longer plans to continue broadcasting on Twitch. The news comes after 10 years of streaming on the platform Here’s what he said about it:
“The end of an era.
Twitch has been my home for a decade.
But it’s time to say thank you for my league, fortnite and all the memories and love between us.
In this regard, Twitch made the following comments:
“What an incredible journey it has been. We are very proud of what he has achieved and what lies ahead for him.
You’ll always have a home on Twitch, Pokey.”
What an incredible journey it has been. We are proud of all you have accomplished and what lies ahead.
You’ll always have a home on Twitch, Pokey 💜

Pokemone left Twitch this January with over 9.3 million followers and over 1,400 subscriptions. Now the question in everyone’s mind, where will Pokemon go? While the streamer has yet to reveal what his next home will be, many have hinted YouTube and TikTok are the two companies most interested in adding this girl to their collection of streamers.
Let’s remember that Ludwing and xQc were also some of the most famous streamers on Twitch, but they ended up getting better deals with YouTube and Kik respectively. The interesting thing here is, What Twitch is doing to alienate its most famous content creators. Considering the financial situation the Amazon division finds itself in, this is most likely a case where they are letting go of their best talent, who earn a lot, to avoid further losses.
We can only wait for Pokemon to reveal what platform it will be airing next. In related matters, Twitch overhauls its monetization system for partners. Likewise, implied nudity is prohibited on this site.
Editor’s note:
Streamers are the face of companies like Twitch, and by losing one of the biggest members of the community, it very likely means that a significant portion of the audience will also leave with Pokemon. We can only wait to see if this company keeps losing big names.
