Hey everyone, Lucid’s team has been working hard at Destruction Ulster for the past few months and it’s great to see the huge impact that our huge January patch game has had on our community! Following the recent announcement that Destruction Ulsters is available on PlayStation Plus as part of the additional and new game catalog facility for premium / deluxe members, we have brought here a new trailer to announce the next exciting new season game! *
On June 22, we will be releasing a host of new content for Destruction AllStars to coincide with the launch of the new PlayStation Plus service in Europe this week. We start with a new event called Rise, which includes brand new game modes, new challenges and an exciting new Ulster Pass. We can’t wait for our community to get their hands on all these new things and join us to welcome new players into the game.
The new PlayStation Plus service has recently launched in Asia, North and South America and will arrive in Europe and Australia on June 23, just in time to dive directly into Rise with the rest of the community.
If you are playing Destruction Ulsters for the first time, or if you are returning after a while away, Destruction Ulsters is a world tour where they and cars collide! Killings and destruction are confirmed as the Ulsters compete on foot and behind the wheel in front of a crowd of millions, fighting to see who will come out on top as champions! If this is your first time diving at Destruction Ulsters Arena, we’re here to help you get ready and ready for your first game! Our brand-new trailer has all the information you need, as well as a glimpse of what’s coming up with our first event, Rise, so be sure to check it out.
Let’s start with the brand new seasonal content on Destruction AllStars and how our next patch is changing. Events are brand new to Destruction Ulsters and last for six weeks, they are full of content with fast delivery. Events will always start with a new game mode or playlist with a brand new Ulster Pass. These passes include a bunch of cosmetic items and coin prizes so you can decorate your AllStars and show them the best for their moment in the spotlight. Events will also have rolling challenges that can be completed for a variety of prizes, including coins, XP and new cosmetics. We’re ready to cover the first three events you can expect in the coming months: Get Up, Get Together and Survive, with more details for our first event coming June 22nd.
Rise will be launched in Europe this June, along with the launch of the new PlayStation Plus service. The event will also host our first Community Challenge where entire communities can work together toward a shared goal, unlocking exclusive cosmetic prizes for the entire community to enjoy. You’ll find all of these and more in our latest trailer, we recommend giving it a watch
Our first event is adding a brand new game mode called Jumpshot to Destruction AllStars. This is a team-based game mode for which you need to think fast on your legs and behind the wheel when you score points with the help of your team. Watch the trailer for your first appearance in this brand-new mode.
In our upcoming patches, we are not only adding new content but we are also upgrading some of our existing game modes. Let’s take a look at Blitz, our competitive game mode, where we’re launching a competitive season for the first time! In our competitive system, we’ve modified the ranking system to better track your skill level and match you with similar skill opponents. We’ve also added brand new and prestigious cosmetics prizes that you can earn exclusively from the Blitz playlist, letting all other Ulsters know that you have come out of the competitive season as a royal champion! Destruction AllStars offers Blitz on weekends and each competitive season lasts for six weeks, all in order to make a lasting impression in a short time if you want to get the crowd by your side.
As we prepare to welcome a bunch of new players and reminisce about joining the game catalog library on the PlayStation Plus, Lucid’s team wanted to make sure we’ve rewarded players who have supported the game since our launch last year. To that end, we’re thrilled to announce that those who played the game before the new PlayStation Plus service launched will receive a Founder Pack as a way to thank us. You will be able to claim this award for free from the In-Game Store and it has got some exclusive cosmetics to help you show off your skills and experience.
All of this and much more we will reach over the huge patch already released in January earlier this year. Our January patch was an absolute monster for the game, we really dived into a lot of core systems like clash, networking, slam and point scoring to make the gameplay experience even tougher. Not only that, we’ve also improved the look and feel of the game, with a brand new main menu experience to appreciate all your actions in the field, including the great new VFX, such as avoidance, slamming, double jumping and much more. More! On that note, I think my favorite change gave AllStars the ability to double jump all the time! This was done as part of a broad-reach balancing pass on all 17 of our AllStars and it really improved how fluid and agile you can be on the field.
This is an exciting time for the game and our community as we arrive at PlayStation Plus and prepare everything for our new event, Rise, to launch on June 22nd. We really hope you can join us in destroying some vehicles and using our brand new game. Mode, jumpshot. This is in our latest trailer, with more news and information along the way!
