A somewhat odd comparison from Apple. Is this a tribute to HTC or an embarrassing failure?
Does Apple want to use a little trick to make the iPhone look as good as possible on every page? This is expected and one can assume if we open a trade-in page where Apple compares a new iPhone 15 with an HTC phone that was released almost 9 years ago.
Compared to a phone of this era, the current iPhone clearly looks very modern. But if you put one of Samsung’s current Android phones next to it, the Galaxy device will probably look more modern. The big notch for Face Unlock (Dynamic Eyesand) seems outdated on Apple, even though it has a lot of technology.
It will probably continue like this in the following pages. Apple lists a few fairly current Android smartphones as examples for its trade-in program, but again we’re shown the HTC One M9 from 2015.
Apple probably doesn’t stand by its iPhones and their looks, otherwise they would have used another new Android device as an example.
