Smartphone teaser videos are nothing new. We see them all the time from almost every big brand. They typically involve dramatic music, shady closeups of various hardware components, and flashing technology buzzwords across the screen.
Fortunately, the new teaser for Nubia Red Magic 7 breaks with that tradition. Instead of all those melodramas, we only have cats. Lots of cats. Many adorable kitties are just running around doing cat stuff. This is definitely a less stylish way to tease your new product.

In addition to all the cute cats, you’ll also see some quick glimpses of Red Magic 7. The gaming phone has a purple variant that looks quite classy and you can clearly see the air triggers on the side of the device. If you don’t blink, you’ll even see the entire back of the phone at the end of the teaser – but it’s only on the screen for a second or two. This variant is black, so it looks like there will be at least two color variants for the phone.
Rumor has it that the Nubia Red Magic 7 may have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset under the hood, making it a powerful gaming machine. Other rumored features include a 6.8-inch FHD + OLED display, up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.
