Winter has come Fantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis! Snow is falling across the planet Halfa, from the Alio to the Retum region, and Central City is decorated with seasonal decorations! Part 1 of the winter event began January 12 and Part 2 continues this week There is still plenty of time to get into action, as the event will not end until February 8th.
As with previous seasonal events, special enemies can be found in both search and battle. These enemies are easy to distinguish because they are marked with special symbols. Eliminating these enemies (and special rappies) will give you seasonal points, which can be exchanged with ARKS Phenomenonist Giandi in Central or Rhythm City. He will also have some limited-time tasks for you to complete, after which you will receive special rewards.
During the event, there are special seasonal daily and weekly tasks that can reward seasonal points as well as cosmetic items! To find out what you need to do, look at the Time-tab in your task list. Seasonal points can be exchanged for all kinds of items at Xiandy’s Exchange Shop, such as your Mag, a new winter form for the Star James, or an advanced wind element weapon in the Tempesta weapon series. These 5-star rare weapons are great for action across the Rhythm region, as they are vulnerable to many enemy air elements. Xiandy offers material items and augments to strengthen your gear.
Central City is decorated to celebrate the winter season, and part of it contains the Mischief Symbol, a special holograph hidden throughout the city. Find them all to complete a special limited-time task. In addition to hunting these symbols, there is also a new seasonal gathering item to find. Collect these special items and feed a seasonal area mag to earn extra points towards regional and personal boosts. After all, everyone can use a boost to their rare item drop rate!
