According to internal information, the new “light” performance profile can iUniverse Device performance is “moderately reduced” without reducing the display’s refresh rate while power consumption is “extremely reduced”. Certainly sounds interested.

“Prioritizes battery life and cooling efficiency over processing speed.”

Samsung probably already has this mode in the current Galaxy Z series, but not in other Samsung smartphones. Regardless, looking around the forums it is in demand. An update for older models may arrive when the S23 smartphones are launched. Probably in January.
