Samsung has already reached Beta 3, the new One UI 6 with Android 14 has been improved again.
This is the first market launch, Samsung is once again distributing new test firmware for the next new Android version. Of course it’s about One UI 6, which in this case is based on Android 14. The latest September security update is also included. This is beta 3 which is being rolled out now.

- Samsung Pay swipe gesture: Samsung Pay now works seamlessly with swipe gestures, ensuring a smooth and efficient payment experience.
- Device Care Auto Restart: The update introduces an automatic restart feature for Device Care, and it adds a manual settings menu to schedule restarts, ensuring your device stays in optimal condition.
- Notification icon shape: Improved the shape of notification icons in text messages, increasing visual clarity and aesthetics
- DeX mode: Running apps in DeX mode will no longer cause notification bar color errors
- Routine performance: The update fixes issues with routines not working properly, especially in the “when you get a message” condition.
Still Known Issues:
- Kids app installation: After updating to One UI 6, installing the Kids app may not be possible. However, Samsung plans to fix this issue by mid-September.
- Onboarding failure: Some users may experience problems with onboarding when logging in after launching Samsung Pass and logging out of Samsung Account
- Voice recognition error: Under certain circumstances, a voice recognition error may occur when receiving a phone call with the “answer the phone” command
- Google Assistant error: Swiping can cause Google Assistant errors in certain situations.
