- An internal Vodaphone document details the alleged Google Pixel 5 release date in Germany.
- If the document is true, the Pixel 5 will land in German stores on September 25.
- The Pixel 4a 5G will likely land on the same date, but the document doesn’t mention a Pixel 5 XL.
A newly-leaked image strongly suggests the supposed release date of the upcoming Google Pixel 5. As leaked by YouTuber Techcheck (h/t GSM Arena), the source of the information is an internal document from the German branch of Vodaphone.
The document shows the Pixel 5, Pixel 4a, and Pixel 4a 5G release dates in that country. You can see the image for yourself below.
Google Pixel 5 alleged German release date
It’s a bit tricky to see, but the document suggests the Google Pixel 4a, Google Pixel 4a 5G, and Google Pixel 5 could all land in Germany on September 25, 2020. If that’s true, the general launch of the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G could be very soon, and likely on the same date.
Unfortunately, the document makes no mention of a Pixel 5 XL. While this isn’t surprising given the rumor mill over the past few months, it does appear to cement the idea that there will only be one Pixel 5 model this year.
Yesterday, we learned that the Google Pixel 5 might cost €629 (~$745) in Europe. We’ll need to wait and see how this pans out, but all evidence suggests the next batch of Pixels landing very soon!
