We’re still a month away from the Google I/O conference, where the company will likely unveil its new Pixel 8A phone. At this point there were already many demonstrations and even some real-world footage. and now, Out of politeness android addressIt seems that the official marketing image of the device has been leaked.
If true, it shows that Google plans to offer the Pixel 8A in four colors: black, porcelain, blue and a very bright green. It’s definitely more saturated than the muted “Mint” that Google added to the Pixel 8’s color options earlier this year.
The phone is rumored to have a 6.1-inch display like its predecessor, although it is not yet clear whether it will be 90Hz or 120Hz. The 8A still has thicker bezels than the flagship Pixel 8 and 8 Pro — especially at the bottom. Just like these devices, it is powered by Google’s Tensor G3 chip.
die That is what the rumor mill has suggested This could be the last A-series Pixel phone – at least for a while. Later this year, Google is expected to launch three versions of the Pixel 9: Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL. They will each have different screen sizes (and prices). Add the Pixel Fold 2 to the end and the 9A might not have enough room in the lineup. Even from a price point of view, there isn’t much headroom between the 7A and the ever-selling Pixel 8 model.
The keynote at Google I/O 2024 is scheduled for May 14. We haven’t seen much on the Pixel Fold 2 compared to many 8A leaks, so it’s possible that the company will delay it until October to make the entire premium series compatible with the same Tensor G4 processor.
