grounded It is finally available on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. Obsidian’s favorite survival game received a great reception when it came to the Xbox series Or they just don’t compare to what we see on Microsoft consoles.
According to Digital Foundry, both the PlayStation 5 and Switch versions have lower performance than the Xbox Series X|S. In the beginning, grounded It has a dynamic resolution between 1080p and 1215p on PS5That represents a drop from the 4K we get on the Series X. Fortunately, most of the visual elements that the title presents to us are similar between these two consoles.
Regarding the frame rate, although the PS5 version reaches 60fps, this number is constantly dropping to 50fps or 45fps. For its part, on the Nintendo Switch we find a resolution of 600p, and although Default is 30fps, usually with a drop to 20fps. The problem doesn’t end there, as Switch and PS5 have persistent stuttering issues when auto-save is enabled.
Thus, it is clear that both versions have multiple issues that were not present in the Xbox Series X|S. The PS5’s visual power is remarkable though, and it’s impressive to look at grounded Play on Nintendo Switch, All indications are that the best way to enjoy this title is still on an Xbox Series X|S.
