Google is once again upgrading its screen, the Pixel 9 series will have the best components on the market.
Last year, Google integrated very powerful screens and took an important step, but in 2024 it will go even further. The Pixel 9 series has been upgraded and sometimes has different displays installed, but they are definitely of high quality.
The format will change with the new Pixel 9 Pro Fold. The foldable inner screen is then 8″ larger and 1,600 nits brighter, while the outer screen grows from 5.8″ to 6.24″ and should achieve a peak brightness of 1,800 nits. This makes the Fold experience completely new compared to the first model.
Significantly more brightness thanks to the latest Samsung technology
The Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL and Pixel 9 also have slightly different screens. However, here the format is not changed, but rather the performance and little dimensions. That’s just 0.02″ more from the Pixel 8 Pro to the Pixel 9 Pro XL. The smaller Pixel 9 Pro comes in at 6.34″, while the Pixel 9 comes in at 6.24″.
Google will increase the maximum brightness everywhere because it has the latest Samsung M14 components for the screen. The Pro variant has over 2,050 nits of brightness, while the Pixel 9 has 1,800 instead of the 1,400 nits of its predecessor.
Until the Pixel 7 series, Google had really weak screens, but now they are taking this issue seriously and want to stay ahead. I can only welcome that. (via Android Authority/2)
