We’re just days away from its second season premiere House of the Dragon. Although the general public has yet to see what this adaptation of A Dance with Dragons will look like, HBO has a lot of confidence in the production, to the extent that a third season has already been confirmed.

Unfortunately, at this point there is no additional information about its release date and what part of the book it is Fire and blood will adapt HBO’s head of programming and drama series Francesca Orsi commented:

I hope that House of the Dragon I finally managed to adapt everything Fire and blood. However, I don’t know how good of an idea that is. It is undeniable that part of the success is due to its great collection of characters and actors, and changing the story means having a different cast, something that may not be to everyone’s liking.
