(Pocket-Lint) – Have you ever wanted to see tweets from a specific person on Twitter? Now there is a very simple way to do it.
How to search tweets from specific account
There are a few methods, but the new one – from profile to search – is by far the simplest and most straightforward.
Manual search
For the longest time, Twitter has offered users a manual way to search for tweets from specific accounts. It wasn’t very user-friendly, however, and had mixed results. On the Twitter search bar, you had to search “from:[Twitter handle] [search term]So, it might look like this:

To make it easier to find someone who tweeted a year ago, Twitter added a new search button to their profile page. This button allows you to search for tweets from the profile you are viewing Social media consultant Matt Navarre First reported that the new search button began to appear for users in September 2021. A month later, XDA Developers It has spread widely to everyone who uses Twitter’s iOS app.
Here’s how to find the new search button:
- Open the latest version of the Twitter app (iOS only).
- Go to a user’s profile.
- In the cover photo area, look at the magnifying glass (… next to the menu button).
- Tap on the magnifying glass. This is the new search button.
- Enter the keywords you want to search for in the user’s past tweets
