It’s time to trade in your stopwatch for a scorecard – developer Hugecalf Studios and publisher Secret Mode have swapped Turbo Golf Racing for a more traditional golf course and their humble clap practice for a more classic 18-hole experience.
Golf mode – available now – brings a bit of coolness and more skill to the action-packed extreme sports game, replacing fast-paced eight-player races with (slightly) more realistic one-on-one duels. Turbo golfers must drive their ball correctly and use as few strokes as possible. Pars, birdies, eagles and albatross must be had for the most skilled golfers. Players can use the game mode’s exclusive aerial camera to plan their shots and a new combined Power Dash mechanic to send the ball flying further than ever before.
New golf and progression adventures have also been added to encourage you to take a stroke or two out of your golf game, along with a wealth of other updates and improvements. And don’t worry, racing fans – while Golf Mode will temporarily be the default way to play, classic Turbo Golf Racing and Time Trials will still be playable.
