Although it seems like it was yesterday ROG Alley Asus has arrived in the market, the company is already preparing for the next generation of these portable PCs. Through a short presentation on his official YouTube channel, ROG Ally X has been officially revealed.
While there aren’t many details on the device at the moment, such as price and release date, Asus assures that the ROG Ally X will offer consistent improvements over our current model. In the beginning, Better battery and RAM will be offeredTwo components that were heavily criticized in the original ROG Alley.
To begin with, the RAM is expected to be more than 16 GB. with this, It is noted that the new console will no longer rely on the M.2 2230 SSD and instead implement the 2280. This allows users to change storage drives without being physically tied to smaller solid state drives.
While the ROG Ally X is expected to feature several internal changes, it is unknown whether the laptop will undergo significant changes on its exterior. However, considering that Asus avoided calling the console RPG Alley 2, It’s probably not that different from the aesthetic category we see today.
