The new beta gives hope
Once discontinued due to the iPhone X, Apple has now reintroduced the battery percentage indicator in the Battery Gauge in the latest iOS 16 beta. Currently, the exact battery status can only be seen in Control Center.
In the beta, users can turn on the function under the menu item “Battery”, it’s called “battery charge %” But before you start cheering, there’s still a catch: the function is obvious Depending on the screen size your iPhone. The iPhone XR, iPhone 11 and the mini versions of the iPhone 12 and 13 are still excluded from the battery percentage display. We don’t know yet if Apple will change this in the future.
Still not quite perfect
Until the feature leaves beta, we’ll probably have to estimate the battery level using the icon in the status bar, as we always have. Some users are very unhappy with the implementation of the battery level indicator in the beta. For the percentage of the battery symbol to always be readable, it must always be Completely white background to remain The actual “filling level” of the battery can therefore no longer be displayed graphically, but an easy-to-see percentage display shows the battery as fully charged even with only 3 percent remaining.
