The Aiper company, known for its automated pool cleaning systems, has teased a new cleaning robot. The purpose of the Aiper Scuba X is not only to clean the entire pool, but also to disinfect the water.
Iper Scuba Should be able to effectively clean the entire pool surface. This prevents surface contaminants such as leaves and insects from sinking to the bottom and affecting water quality. In addition, the Scuba X also cleans the water line on the pool wall, where floating impurities are particularly prone to settling.
Clean the pool floor and surface
The pool robot can change its position so that it can work on both walls and water surface. Scuba X also has one own base station, where the robot can return independently. Ideally, interaction with the robot is limited to emptying. Iper also promises that the robot can disinfect the pool independently. So far, the manufacturers have not commented on how the sterilization will work. The robot will likely have a device that dispenses chlorine in granule or tablet form. Alternatively, ozonation would be possible.
Presentation at CES 2024
