- The Vivo Watch is launching this month.
- In a Weibo post, Vivo confirmed the wearable’s launch date and revealed a portion of its design.
- The wearable will be unveiled on September 22.
The Vivo Watch will make its official debut next week, Vivo confirmed in a Weibo post. In a post to the Chinese social network, the company revealed the date in a flyer and also teased a portion of the device itself.
If you turn up the gamma on the dark image, the visible section of the Vivo Watch includes two buttons jutting out from the watch’s seemingly circular body. It’s reminiscent of purported live-action shots of the Vivo Watch published by leaker Digital Chat Station.
The leaker also revealed that two sizes are expected with slightly different designs. The larger 46mm version will feature more recessed buttons, while the 42mm variant will resemble something akin to the Galaxy Watch 3. The Vivo Watch is also said to include health tracking smarts in the form of a blood oxygen saturation monitor and a heart-rate monitor.
Vivo’s confirmation of its wearable comes amid a flurry of watch launches from BBK brands. Oppo and Realme have also unveiled their own smartwatches in recent weeks, with the latter possibly introducing another fairly soon. Judging by certification listings, the OnePlus Watch is also likely to make an appearance shortly.
The Vivo Watch will make its debut on September 22 at 7:30 PM CST (7:30 AM ET).
