For the first time, fans and newcomers alike can battle Jojo’s bizarre adventures: All-Star Battle R! Exclusive for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, the limited-time demo has two modes – Online PVP and Practice Mode – and four iconic JoJo characters, including Jonathan Joyster, Jotaro Cujo, DIO, and Jolene Cujo. Today, join the action starting June 16 and ending June 22.

What’s new in All-Star Battle R?
Originally released in 2014, All-Star Battle is much more than a regular remaster of a fan’s favorite fighter game. Character models and voice overs have been redesigned to match the ever-popular JoJo anime to create an authentic JoJo experience. You’ll also find new mechanics, such as supportive, fascinating players in modern, fast-paced gameplay.

Limited use of limited amounts per match, allows players to strategically expand their attack and combo Or Defends the opponent defensively. With over 50 uniquely designed characters to choose from, players will be able to mix, match and optimize their style of play.
Tips for demos
Want to get to the top fast in online matchmaking? Here are some quick pointers for running and hitting the ground.
Take advantage of Easy Beat mode:
By spamming your light attack button, your fighter will complete a combo of light, medium and heavy attacks. If you have at least 1 bar gauge, it will activate Fighter HHA (a mini super move).

Use your help when you’re stuck:
Being pummeled? Can you feel the pressure of being charged a Super Move (GHA)? Send your help to disrupt them and even the playing field.
Assists in attack: Different actions are performed by each character, such as rush attacks, long-range attacks, and installation traps. If they can be successfully incorporated into the combo, they can do a lot of damage.
Reverse support: When defending or taking damage, the supporting character jumps and cuts off the opponent’s attack. Assist gauge recovery is slower than used during an assault attack.
Cancel Flash to go aggressive:
Flash cancellation shortens your combos and allows you to make a fresh start right away – but beware! There is a full meter cost to cancel the flash which can leave you high and dry while you could save for a game changing Super Move (GHA).
