Robot Squid will release their latest update for King of Crabs on Steam, iOS and Android on September 20th, with the game coming out of Early Access on Steam on September 26th. King of Crabs originally launched on PC in 2020 and has seen significant streamer activity due to its light-hearted, humorous take on the popular genre. It combines simple mechanics with a slick art style and intense gameplay, and of course a whole bunch of crab sounds! King of Crabs is a cross-play title that pits both real and fictional crabs against each other in themed arenas where you can collect a variety of weird and wonderful gear to help you rise to the top!
New Game Mode – Crab Royale!
Available now for free on Steam and mobile, the new update introduces a brand new game mode where players must crawl across a shrinking map surrounded by sandstorms! With only one life, it’s a fast-paced, high-intensity twist on the original game mode and complements it perfectly. It’s crazy!
New Crab!
A new season wouldn’t be the same without a new crab, and the new addition can still be spicy! Samurai Crab will join the cast and feature an all-new devastating sword, shield and special ability “Shurikens”. There is also a new ram hat, battle ax and flying fish pet, plus many other goodies!
