A merciless icy desert, the Realm of Death – no amount of harsh Czechoslovak winters can prepare you for this icy hell. And yet this is the dangerous route that Czechoslovakia’s troops must take. Their only hope in this desperate odyssey is to Vladivostok, a distant port where a ship hopefully awaits to return home.

Hunger is a constant companion, and even the train itself, the vehicle of their fading hope, is in constant danger of running out of coal. This coal is the resource that powers the steel behemoth while providing much-needed heat for the Legionnaires.
