Electrosonics Has announced the launch of its 941 MHz band variant DCR822 Digital, dual-channel portable receiver. The new receiver is compatible with current electrosonics mono and stereo digital transmitters and is backwards compatible with any digital hybrid wireless transmitter made in the last 20 years.
The DCR822 Provides two independent receiver channels at the highest levels of available RF and audio performance, with versatile feature-sets and compact designs for field and location production.
The DCR822-941 Offers tunes and 750 frequency choices across 94 MHz from 941.100 to 959.825 MHz. Settings can be made from the front panel with touch buttons and a high-resolution LCD interface, making the unit ideal for use in portable bag systems and sound carts. An RF spectrum analyzer and SmartTune Increasingly dense RF is built into the receiver to eliminate the problem of interference in the spectrum. 2-Way IR Sync Matching Transmitter works fast to set up. The new receiver has a USB jack on the back panel to connect with Lectrosonics Wireless Designer software for frequency adjustment and RF system monitoring.
Data transfer and firmware updates via microSD
The receiver is equipped with a microSD card slot for data transfer such as firmware updates and frequency group information. The machined aluminum housings and panels are displayed with a hard-anodized finish with laser HD marking to withstand the rigors of field production. The audio output is via two locking TA3M connectors, either analog mic / line level or selectable in the AES3 digital output menu.
Record in microSD card slot
In addition to the ability to transfer data via the microSD card slot, the DCR822 can record audio channels directly from the receiver to the card. Industry-standard .wav (BWF) file format 24 bit / 48 kHz For compatibility with any audio or video editing software. The receiver also includes powerful AES 256-CTR mode encryption, with four different encryption key policies available including Universal (common to all Lectrosonics D2, M2X and DCHX units), Shared (great for sports coverage), Standard and Volatile ( Once) use the key).
