During CinemaCon this spring, Warner Bros. Pictures Group President Toby Emmerich noted that Batman 2 It will be a reality. However, a new report notes that after the Warner Bros. and Discovery merger, The chances of seeing Robert Pattinson as the Dark Knight again are slim.
According to Variety, Matt Reeves, director and writer, as well as Pattinson are still working batman 2, but At this point the project has not been approved by the new Warner Bros. Discovery board.. What was mentioned about it was:
“Writer/director Matt Reeves is on track for a sequel with star Robert Pattinson, but the project is still in development and not yet greenlit — any future movies are years away.”
Following Emmerich’s departure after CinemaCon, and Warner Bros. With Discovery CEO David Zaslav’s 10-year plan, Many wonder if Reeves’ vision has a place in the future of the DCEU that is currently being planned.
Relatedly, insiders talk about the possibilities Batman 2 Canceled as well, this is the first appearance of a collaboration between Batman and Spawn.
