Motorola has promised a big comeback in 2024

AI is a big thing at Motorola for 2024 in Android smartphones.

Motorola has lost a lot of momentum in recent years, and apart from foldables, the Lenovo brand has suffered quite a bit. The result is an endlessly long chain of meaningless Android smartphones for the Moto G series, otherwise the smartphones lack the special features that give the brand real strength.

Motorola knows this, it said in a statement. In it, the company announced that a massive comeback is planned for 2024. Additionally, they held back to 2023 to reorganize plans for the future. This includes, among other things, delivering our own AI language models to Moto smartphones.

“On the product level, the new Razer will have a more impressive design and better AI interaction, the flagship X series camera will have new features for larger voice models, and the S series and G series will be completely improved,” wrote General Manager of Lenovo Mobile Business Group in his statement.

In 2023, the future was built “quietly” in the background. Together with Lenovo, “AI for All” will be promoted. It’s a clear promise that artificial intelligence will play a major role in smartphones. Apart from Samsung and Google who will be the market leaders in this field.

Regardless, I’d be happy if Motorola came back stronger and launched truly competitive devices instead of just relying on the cheap masses. Especially in Europe and the US, we still have good market shares that can be expanded to target.
