MSI has introduced two new notebook models based on Intel’s new Meteor Lake generation. The MSI Prestige 16 AI Studio and the smaller Prestige 13 AI Evo were clearly presented. Both models should be available in early 2024. Initially, the notebook is priced between 1,599 euros and 2,799 euros.
MSI Prestige 16 AI Studio is based on the newly introduced one Intel Core Ultra 9 185H, which is a 16 core with 22 threads. The manufacturer installs up to 32 GB of LPDDR5 RAM with a maximum clock speed of 6,400 MHz. Programs and games can be installed on a fast NVMe SSD with a capacity of 1 TB.
The hardware is rounded off by a Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop-GPU, which has 8 GB of video memory. However, the graphics chip’s TDP is limited to 55 watts, which reduces performance somewhat. The GPU should still provide enough performance to play modern games at high settings. A 99 Wh battery, which can be quickly charged at up to 140 watts via USB PD 3.2, ensures a long enough run time.

This is also a highlight OLED-panel Front, which has a diagonal of 16 inches. Additional features include stereo speakers, Thunderbolt 4, WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
The MSI Prestige 13 AI Evo does not have a dedicated GPU
with Prestige 13 AI Evo The manufacturer has also launched a slightly smaller notebook with a 13.3-inch screen. The display has a resolution of 2,880 x 1,800 pixels and is said to have the same features as the Prestige 16. Under the hood is an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H, 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB NVMe SSD. There is no dedicated graphics unit, instead it Processor Intel Arc GPU Responsible for graphics acceleration. There’s also WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, a 75 Wh battery and Thunderbolt 4.
