Starting with leak specifications, It is mentioned that this device will have an Intel chip, Core Ultra 7 155H to be exact. It has a total of 16 cores, six high-performance, eight high-efficiency and two LP, as well as an 8-core Arc Alchemist Xe graphics card with 22 threads capable of reaching 2.25 GHz.
This means this Intel chip will provide MSI CLAW Better performance than AMD Ryzen Ze Extreme chips, which we find in devices like ROG Ally or Legion Go. Along with this, the new device will have 32 GB of RAM, which is double of the previously mentioned two models.
While this information paints a positive picture, there are still many facts that are unknown. For example, Currently there are no details on display, price, release date or other technical specifications of MSI CLAW. Similarly, the possibility of selling multiple versions of this device cannot be ruled out, where we will see variations regarding RAM memory and storage capacity, for example.
We just have to wait for MSI to share the official information, something that won’t take long, since CES 2024 will be held between January 9 and 12. In related matters, Steam deck sales are down. Likewise, Valve admits it was inspired by the Nintendo Switch.
Editor’s note:
If this leaked information is true, we will be looking at one of the most powerful portable devices on the market. However, as we’ve already seen, better performance and spectacular visuals will usually drain the battery faster. If MSI gives us a device that lasts more than two hours, we’ll see a strong contender for the Steam Deck.
