At this year’s Mobile World Congress (MWC), which will be held from February 26 to 29, 2024, it looks like some of the most exciting smartphones will be unveiled this year. Highlights include models from Sony, Vivo, Honor, Xiaomi and Nothing. The great thing: this technology will not be withheld from us, as it will soon be shown worldwide.
The smartphones will be launched globally during MWC 2024 (February 26 to 29).

📱 Vivo X100 Pro+
📱 Honor Magic 6 Pro
📱 Xiaomi 14 Ultra

It’s not actually self-published. In the case of Vivo in particular, a recent patent dispute with Nokia has ensured that the manufacturer is unable to sell smartphones in this country. But recently it has been resolved.
Sony Xperia 1 VI: With the fourth generation of its flagship model, the Xperia 1, the Japanese manufacturer is once again relying on features that have proven to stand out from the competition. One big advantage that Sony has over its more successful smartphone competitors: the camera sensors come from its own company. It currently looks like a triple setup with a 48 MP sensor for the main camera, ultra wide angle and telephoto camera.
Vivo X100 Pro+: Vivo might not immediately spring to mind when you think of the most impressive smartphone cameras, but the manufacturer has repeatedly installed some of the best hardware with the Pro+ models in recent years. A 200 MP sensor would be quite unusual for a periscope telephoto camera, As recent rumors suggest.
Honor Magic 6 Pro: Strictly speaking, the Honor Magic 6 Pro has already been presented – but so far only in China. The Chinese manufacturer might have the smartphone in its luggage at MWC and then announce it to the rest of the world in Barcelona. With a high-resolution 6.8-inch display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage (wait to see which storage version we have), this device is a strong contender. Honor also relies on a special high-resolution sensor for zoom, but with “only” 180 MP.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra: Xiaomi’s Ultra smartphone might be one of the most anticipated devices at MWC, after all, the manufacturer always goes one step ahead. The heart of the camera is probably Sony’s new LYT-900, which belongs to the 1-inch category and therefore offers one of the largest areas. It should have a continuously adjustable aperture. I probably don’t need to tell you more about Snapdragon 8 Gen 3: the top chip is definitely here.
Nothing phone 2a: Next Nothing The smartphone 2a doesn’t necessarily fit the “top smartphone” ranks, as it falls more into the middle class and enters the ring opposite the Galaxy A and Pixel a smartphones. It is equipped with, among other things, a Dimension 7200 from MediaTek and two 50 MP cameras (no telephoto).
Which of the mentioned devices are you most looking forward to?
