The question of whether we are alone in the universe has plagued scientists for years. However, thanks to technological advances, we’re getting closer to the answer. The planet is approximately 137 light years away and is in the habitable zone. That is why TOI-715 b, this star is called a super-Earth. Because its size is 1.5 times bigger than Earth. That’s not all, as it will be accompanied by a second planet the size of our home, also within the habitable zone.
Additionally, it is noted that TOI-715 b is orbiting close to its parent star. This is at a distance that the planets can provide temperature suitable for the formation of liquid water on its surface, as well as a suitable environment. One such feature that has been discovered is that this Earth completes its “year” or orbit in just 19 days.
After the discovery, TOI-715 b joins the list of habitable zone planets that can be examined more closely by the James Webb Space Telescope. We can only wait to see what happens in the future. On a related note, two solar flares will impact Earth.
