Niantic, Capcom And world-famous rock band One OK Rock (big Monster Hunter fans themselves) collaborated on the new music video – “Make It Out Alive”. The occasion is the release of Monster Hunter Now, which will be released on September 14th for iOS and Android.
Recently, the highly anticipated Monster Hunter Now title surpassed two million pre-registrations. For the first time, visitors to Gamescom 2023, the world’s largest event in the gaming industry, were able to test the game. Here Monster Hunter has now made it to the shortlist of the respective awards ceremony in the “Best Mobile Game” category.
Formed in 2005, ONE OK ROCK has forged a memorable path and built a loyal fan base with a blend of emo and rock influenced music paired with stunning live performances.
Since their debut in 2007, the band has quickly gained a reputation, performing live on stages from small club venues to iconic summer festivals and famous Nippon Budokan. His career continued with performances in stadiums and arenas across Japan.
Leaving Japan behind, they signed a deal with an international label to bring their music to a wider audience. The result has been sold out shows in the US, Europe and Asia, as well as a solid global fan base.
Last year the band released Luxury Disease, an ode to rock music. The band then played a successful North American tour, followed by a “dome tour” in Japan, which proved to be a huge success in their home country. The Dome Tour, which includes concerts in an indoor domed stadium, features some of Japan’s most successful and popular artists.
The band then join Muse on their US and EU tour and plan to finish this year with their biggest Asian arena tour to date.
