That led to a system firmware update in June switch In version 18.1.0, Nintendo released another update with “no forced restart”, meaning no major changes are involved and the user doesn’t have to interrupt their game or anything similar.
Dataminer ‘Oatmealdome’ Social networks have detailed that these updates do not require a console restart and are usually minor changes. The latest version updated the “bad word list”, blocking a way to bypass censorship for writing a certain word in Japanese, but nothing more.
The original 18.1.0 update for switch X (previously Twitter) was associated with the termination of integration and certain features connected to the game such as Smash Bros. and series splatoon. It also includes general system stability improvements to improve user experience.

For now it is not known if there will be major updates in the future or only small ones to say goodbye switch.
