Although not even a year has passed since the premiere Like the Dragon: Infinite Wealth, we know that we will have new information about the future of the series during the next Tokyo Game Show. Thus, A log was recently leaked that gives us a small look at what will be the next title in the previously known series Yakuza.
recently, Found a registration with SEGA and Ryu ga Gotoku Studio Yakuza War. The registration took place on July 26, but this information was not released until August 4. Unfortunately, it’s unknown for sure what kind of projects are on the horizon at this point.

Some have pointed out that this is just another mobile game. For its part, The title may hint at a collaboration with Sakura Wars, another SEGA property, And others don’t rule out seeing a Warriors title starring Kiryuu and company either. However, a popular theory actually points to that Yakuza: War Means the return of dead souls.
In 2011, SEGA and RGG Studios gave us Yakuza: Dead Souls, a third-person shooter that showed us an alternate history where Kamurocho was invaded by zombies. The story isn’t canon, but the game is still remembered today, despite not having a positive reception at the time. Thus, It has been pointed out that Yakuza: War It could be a sequel or even a remake of this title.

I hope it’s nothing related Yakuza: Dead Souls. It’s not a terrible game, but it’s not a title I want to revisit. However, it can be an attractive proposition that can win over new visitors.
