With its launch Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II With just hours away, many have pointed out that this could be the studio’s last game, especially considering the closure of successful teams like Tango Gameworks. However, it seems that this concern should go away, As Ninja Theory will already be working on his next game.
According to Windows Central journalist Jez Corden, Ninja Theory’s next big project has already been approved by Xbox, means the studio will survive for a few more years. Although the details are not clear, it is mentioned that this new title will not kill the project.
Project Mara is a work of Ninja Theory that has already been discussed publicly. It’s a gruesome experiment that, unfortunately, we don’t know much about yet, but this installment will likely be available before the new title. At the same time, the study also focused on Project Insight, where the team “proposes a comprehensive solution to help treat emotional distress and promote emotional well-being.”
At this point, more concrete details about Ninja Theory’s future are unknown, but the team will remain on hold, at least for the moment, as they work on Project Mara and the recently approved new title.
