Nio has introduced its first smartphone for electric cars

Nio, known for its electric cars, is now offering its customers proper smartphones.

The day has come, Nio has launched their first smartphone. It’s a current high-end device that basically lacks any of the data you’d expect from such a device. Technically, it fits into the range of cars, to which it is supposed to be closely related.

16 GB RAM, 1 TB data storage, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, a 6.81″ 120 Hz OLED display, three 50 MP cameras, 66 W fast charging via cable and 55 W wireless – there is a lot of high-end hardware in there, which we Know this form from other manufacturers.

The Neo phone is closely associated with cars

The Nio phone is designed to provide a close connection with the car. You will be able to control and unlock the car from the outside (also by voice), exit and park the car, access the car camera, transfer media from the phone to the car, make video calls in the car, play games on the smartphone – on the big screen, control the seats and A lot more.

So far everything is only official in China. It remains to be seen if the Nio will make its way to Europe with its phone. But you actually have to do this to be able to offer the complete package everywhere.
