Over the past few years, as more time has passed without Nintendo or Retro Studios releasing Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, many fans have been asking the same question: Will the Switch be skipped and run as “Switch 2”? ?
Finally, the game saw a revival during the recent Nintendo Direct after The company has finally revealed the successor to the Switch and confirmed that it will be announced in the next fiscal year. Many have concluded that if the Prime 4 doesn’t come out, it probably won’t come to the Switch.
Unfortunately it was there and it looked beautiful. But it seemed Also Is it better to change? But some think so IGN I got a very positive comment from Digital Foundry’s Richard Leadbetter that Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, at least based on the evidence so far, is a Switch game:
“It looks great and has some great effects that we’ve seen, but ultimately all evidence points to this game running on the original Switch. The internal screen resolution is 900p, which is the same resolution as Metroid Prime Remastered.”
“As good as it is, there are some aliasing issues and even some very small drops in frame rate. Everything about the visual presentation is really consistent with a well-made Switch game that Retro has a great track record with. I can imagine the development studio is really happy: “Because people call it Switch 2, please take note.”
Well, that’s it. While we had no doubt that the game would work on the Switch (or at least comparable PC hardware), we thought we’d reassure everyone once and for all.
Now, we won’t completely rule out the possibility that Metroid Prime 4: Beyond could be cross-generational, like Zelda: Twilight Princess and Breath of the Wild; After all, time was probably very tight. But we think it’s clear now that this is strictly a Switch game.
