Nothing wants to add the next Android smartphone in 2024.
For me, one of the best smartphones of the past year was definitely the phone from Nothing (2) because it looked so cool and worked so smoothly. It was surprisingly stable in everyday use, even though it’s actually the second Android phone from the young brand. A third device, the Phone (2a), will be available in 2024.
And again they want to address a different target group, so nothing is creating a successor to one of the existing models, but creating a device for itself. Phone (2a) could serve more as a successor to (1) rather than (2) as it is likely to be more expensive and around 500 euros.
In the video below, some people talk a little about the company and announce the phone (2a), but still don’t reveal any details. However, a mid-range smartphone with Android operating system can be expected, which will be roughly in the same range as Pixel 8a and Redmi Note 13 Pro+.
