GeForce RTX 40 SUPER Price Rumors
The new RTX 4080 SUPER will initially cost less than the RTX 4080.
A reliable source, MEGAsizeGPU, has revealed details about the expected price of the upcoming GeForce RTX 40 SUPER series. Given the consistent accuracy of these leaks in the past, he can be considered trustworthy. Please note that the advertised prices also correspond to the data provided by you Moore’s Law is dead.
According to a MEGAsizeGPU post, the RTX 4080 SUPER is expected to cost $999, which is $200 less than the non-Super RTX 4080 when it first launched more than a year ago. Despite relatively modest improvements in specifications, this SKU features the most significant price adjustment in the Super Series.

Nvidia’s strategy is to never officially lower the price of its products. Instead, they will launch new products with equal performance and lower prices.– Mega-Size-GBU (@Z__Wang) 6 January 2024
Meanwhile, the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER is said to be priced at $799, which is the exact MSRP of the non-Super card when it launched exactly a year ago. Furthermore, the RTX 4070 SUPER is set to replace the non-Super version which costs $599, strongly suggesting a price drop for the latter.
If previous estimates are correct, the RTX 4080S and 4070TiS are expected to replace the existing SKUs, while the RTX 4070S is expected to coexist alongside the current model in the market. NVIDIA, at least officially, has no intention of officially lowering the price of the current model, but releasing new graphics cards with the same performance but at a lower price, as claimed by Leaker.
We should know soon if the new information is true, as NVIDIA will officially announce the RTX 40 SUPER series in a few days, and the first SKUs are scheduled to launch on January 17.
