Publisher Aerosoft and developer Nano Games have announced the official launch of “Offroad Truck Simulator: Heavy Duty Challenge”. The game, which was originally launched as Heavy Duty Challenge, gets additional game modes, vehicles and maps in this latest version. The expanded version is now available for platforms such as Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Based on community feedback, Offroad Truck Simulator: Heavy Duty Challenge aims to provide an enhanced gaming experience for both simulation fans and off-road enthusiasts. Various input devices are supported including keyboard and mouse, conventional gamepad and steering wheel with force feedback function to ensure a realistic driving experience.
In the new integrated cargo mode, players go on transport missions. The objective here is to complete the delivery on the newly added map of Utah or the dense European forest. By successfully completing missions, players earn credits that they can use to purchase new cars for further challenges.
The truck selection includes over a dozen models, each with fully modeled cabs and realistic vehicle physics. New additions to the fleet include the Hummer H1 and the Mercedes SK 3553 4-axle, giving players more freedom when choosing their vehicles.
Another innovation is the expanded sports mode, where players can take part in the Europa Truck Trials. You master challenging routes through difficult terrain, with focus on overcoming obstacles and navigating narrow routes. Achievements in this mode are reflected in online rankings.
For a more comfortable gaming experience, the Off-Road Trips mode offers the opportunity to explore the open world. Here players can choose a vehicle and embark on a journey through the rocky plains of Utah or the forests of Europe. They enjoy the landscape in search of unique points of interest, while systematically generated objectives ensure a continuous new adventure.
