Round camera confirmed
A few weeks ago there was the first information about OnePlus’ upcoming flagship smartphone. Apart from the design, specifications and available color variants, an official press photo is among the leaked details from today.
The image, shared by French leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer via GadgetGang, shows the back of the previously undisclosed smartphone. You can see two color variants, matte black and green. As per previous leaks, OnePlus stays largely true to design and adjusts the camera hump almost exclusively. This should round out the OnePlus 11 5G from now on. The last smartphone from the manufacturer to feature a round camera module was the OnePlus 7T.
Apart from the design, the published press photos do not provide any more information about the technical equipment inside. However, what has been confirmed is the continuation of the OnePlus x Hasselblad collaboration. What innovation this means for camera software is not yet known at this time. Apart from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, the OnePlus 11 5G is said to have a 5000 mAh battery, up to 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal flash memory. On the front of the smartphone is a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The rear triple camera consists of a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 32-megapixel telephoto camera.
It is not known when the smartphone will be officially launched. OnePlus may double down again next year and will only sell the OnePlus 11 in China for now, until it becomes available globally a few months later. Other than price and availability, there seem to be hardly any unanswered questions about the OnePlus 11. More information or even the first live images will certainly appear next week.
