There have been some exciting leaks about Google’s Pixel series over the past few days. We’d like to give you a rundown of what we recently learned from very good sources about the upcoming Pixel hardware.
The patent reveals the first Google foldable design
The Pixel Notepad patent leak is definitely there. It’s arguably Google’s first foldable and could be released later this year. It’s all very theoretical so far. These sketches in the patent show, for example, the front camera in the inner housing frame.
First hints at Pixel 8 from 2023
Another very recent leak was about an invention related to tensor processors. Samsung is said to be heavily involved in the future as well. Today we speculate that the Tensor 3 will be based on Samsung again – it will probably be in the Pixel 8 (2023) for the first time.
What’s new for Bluetooth on the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7a
We are now much closer and already get rumors about the official device. First with the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7a. The smartphones are said to support Bluetooth LE audio for the first time. It stands for high quality and low energy consumption. Currently there are only a few peripherals that support it.
Almost final details of Pixel Watch (LTE).
Last but not least, there’s the much-anticipated Pixel Watch, which will be released in October. Information about the price of the LTE version has surfaced. One says $399. The Euro price will definitely be the same. It can still be safely assumed that the Pixel Watch will be introduced together with the Pixel 7 series.
