In a large Android community, a Pixel phone has been chosen as the best smartphone for the first time
Google had a long journey before the Pixel 7 Pro hit the market this year, and for the first time it’s probably one of the best Android smartphones you can buy right now. You don’t even need total high-end hardware for this, as the overall package is right here. In the peer community, the Nexus 6P was the last Google phone to win — but that was in 2015
with our colleagues from Android Authority A selection of 32 smartphones has been put together. Flagship smartphones were included, but mid and low price range devices were not neglected either. The first round of voting has already made it clear in which direction the journey is headed. Pixel 7, Galaxy S22 Ultra, iPhone 14 Pro and surprisingly Asus Zenfone 9 made it to the top 5 twice.
Asus and Nothing break the triple dominance
Mainly dominated by Samsung, Google and Apple. When it comes to sales figures, Google’s presence is surprising. If we talk about the quality of the device, then one can rely on this result. The real surprises are the outliers, as only the Nothing Phone (1) and the Asus Zenfone 9 can make the top 10. Motorola and Co. Not included
Samsung is finally no longer ahead
It is clear that Samsung and Google will win the next round of voting. But the surprise was seen at the end. Although the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra always managed to take first place in the preliminary round, it lost the direct comparison. When choosing between the Galaxy S22 Ultra and the Pixel 7 Pro, 52 percent chose Google.
