Yooka Laylee developer and publisher Playtonic Games has warned of a new scam on social media linked to a game it publishes.
Looks like ‘someone’ is giving MegaWobble a chance to beta test it Crocodile night game. It is scheduled for release later this year on the Nintendo Switch and several other platforms. Apparently this is actually a scam.
Here is the full list Platonic advises players not to click on links provided in scams:
“We noticed that someone is providing a beta tester for Lil Gator Game. We can confirm it is a scam and not from Platonic or LilGatorGame. When we make it available to our community, we will announce it on Twitter and not on all other channels.
“Please do not click on scam links! If you receive any suspicious message claiming to be from Playtonic, please let us know. Stay healthy everyone.”
