But the level of creativity we got from a fan (thanks, Go Nintendo) is less about breaks and more about focusing on design.
Last week, Reddit users u/regggtegg Weight gain R/Pokémon To share our redesigned Switch Dock skin that looks exactly like a Pokémon Center in the Sinnoh region. Take a look at the images below and we can’t get the annoying theme song out of our heads, but we have to admit that the 3D printed model is pretty accurate.
Seeing people so creative usually fills the first burst of joy before the inevitable return, with the realization that we will never be able to create something so detailed for ourselves. Thankfully this time is different as the manufacturer has announced that he is now finalizing the design and will soon have it for sale!
Confirming in a comment on the original post, Reggtegg thanked people for their compliments before announcing they would be adding Doc Status as an item on their Etsy page (Cache Maker) “In the next week or so.”
It might be a little bigger than the relatively subtle design we saw on the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Switch OLEDs, but hey, if you’re a Gen 4 fan, why not shout it from the rooftops?
